Walk, walk fashion baby

I've liked a lot of the collections for spring/summer 2010 but the one that gave me that gasp, wow, omg I LOVE IT, feeling was Alexander McQueen. Designers Proenza Schouler and Peter Pilotto have been using digitally manipulated images for their collections but have stuck to conventional cut and form. McQueen just jumped right in there with digital images of reptile skin coloured and beaded/sequined on futuristic type exaggerated creations. Even the hair and make-up styling of his shows incorporated the futuristic reptilian theme with moulded ridges on the face and hair sculpted into similar exo-skeleton type forms.

Camille Belle has looked pretty in 2010 Mc Queen, and the Dame of couture Daphne Guiness was the first to step out in the shockingly high 12inch 'armadillo' heels. But, of course, none other than Gaga could totally rock out the collection making it look both edgy and stunningly beautiful in her video for 'Bad Romance', even styling the McQueen final catwalk look with a massive pair of lips made of hair. I have big time E.N.V.Y.
