A few things I think you should check out:

• The trailer to Tom Ford's directorial debut 'A Single Man'- it looks STUNNING. Beautiful costume, art direction and acting. A definite must see.
• Taylor Momsen's band 'The Pretty Reckless', in particular the songs 'Heart' and 'Blender'. She not only has seriously kick-ass style and is in one of the hottest American teen dramas, 'GG', but she can write songs and perform with the charisma and sexual appeal of someone more than twice her age. A bit worrying really. If you like this, listen to some old school Courtney Love with her band 'Hole'.
• 'Unseen Vogue: The Secret History of Fashion Photography' edited by Robin Derrick and Robin Muir. A perfect sized coffee table book which you can pick up at any point and stare in wonder at never-before-seen fashion shots and behind the scenes information like letters between editors and clients, inspiration boards, and shot lists.
• Bumble and Bumble tonic lotion and thickening spray- layer over each other on damp hair and then blow-dry in sections with a round thick-bristle brush to achieve the perfect blow-dry. Your hair will look thicker, shinier and more bouncy. These products work WONDERS.
• Dior Joaillerie 'Coffret de Victoire' collection- based upon underwater sea-creatures, skulls and flowers. You can tell that it will all be extortionately expensive due to the lack of prices but it is so pretty it is definitely worth a look and moment of wishful contemplation.
• Alexa Chung's 'Today I'm wearing...' blog on Vogue.com. An inside peak into the wardrobe of a fashion icon.
• Sylvia Plath's poetry. It can be morbid and disturbing but it is really emotive and affecting. Also check out 'The Bell Jar', Plath's short novel about a young girls mental breakdown after a stint in the fashion industry. Very interesting.
