Great things come in rectangular packages...

New month= new magazines!!

The young guns are taking over! Alexa is the style icon of the moment, Amber Le Bon is an icon in the making and the Nylon covers are testament to the enduring appeal of teen drama- especially when vampires are involved!! Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder have women of all ages in a fluster over their chiselled cheekbones, sharp jaw-lines and smouldering eyes. Bite me.

The Chanel spreads with Freha and Claudia- the new and the old(er) models of the moment. I am simply LOVING Chanel accessories this season, especially the jewellery and the hats! Drama and Glamour personified!!
I also think that the Italian architectural backdrop of these shots is a perfect counterpoint to the intricate detailing of the clothes, and a perfect addition to the soft, romantic tone.

Ok, so I am biased towards Mulberry at the moment but I love the childhood fantastical element of this ad- I am also impressed by the consistency of the Mulberry campaign- I drove past the flagship store in London and the window display is a wonderland of carousel horses! It made me smile, so job well done.

Frida Giannini (Gucci creative director) appears to have been inspired by Lady Gagas metallic exoskeleton styling. I would love to see this up close to tell if the rib-cage section is a part of the dress or a form of extreme body jewellery. Either way I'm intrigued,,,
