Attack of the 7ft woman!

My name is Charlotte Barrett and I am an ankle boot obsessive. It seems that no matter how many pairs I own I still cannot resist the urge to buy a new pair. I don't even have a wide range of different styles! There is a strikingly similar aesthetic to every pair I own: black, high heeled, pointed and with a slight rock edge like studs, lace or buckles. But finally the day has come. I have ventured into the unknown. I have bought a pair that is....NUDE. I have entered the neutral colour palette of Spring one, beautifully clad foot first. The pair in question are light beige suede platform booties from Zara. They also come in black and grey and are reasonably priced at c.£60.

Modelled here by me in a pair of skinny jeans from Topshop to illustrate how good they look with denim and even better....

when you have as an accessory a gorgeous pet cat named Jack (after Captain Jack Sparrow- he used to have a pirate bandana)

Here they are modelled with bare legs by my mama to illustrate how similarly great they look with slightly tanned skin for when the weather is warmer and I can wear them with skirts, shorts and dresses.

(In case you are wondering my mama has a figure that most normal women would die for, and she has had 3 kids. I'm hoping this is hereditary....)

ps. I feel honour bound to tell you that I only bought the nude ones because they were sold out of black. I'm going to buy a second pair this week....
