'No headbands in college.'- AS IF.

Aside from the the occasional witty one liners and the general beauty of Eric Daman's styling, one of the key aspects of teen drama Gossip Girl which got me hooked was Blair Waldorf's dazzling array of headbands. There was nothing I enjoyed more than seeing which accessory she would be adding into her perfectly curled coiffure. I use the past tense because season three of gossip girl which currently aired in the UK was a vast disappointment- both in terms of the pathetically absurd storylines, and the distinct lack of Blair's glossy waves and embellished headwear. I am an avid fan of all manner of hair accessories- be they headbands, clips, corsages, hats or veils. Much to my disappointment, my current shorter hairstyle doesn't seem to work so well with actual headbands- although large clip in flowers and bows are still working quite well. So, in a brief moment of nostalgia I have attached some pictures of my favourite headbands from when my hair was longer. All of these are either from Urban Outfitters or Accessorize- two of the best places for affordable but well made and beautiful pieces.
