A gold star for outstanding effort

If I had to choose one woman whose style has evolved and matured to the height of youthful elegance over the last year it would be Zoe Saldana. Since her foray into acting began with stereotypical teen movies 'Center Stage' and 'Crossroads' I had feared she would dissolve into a Z list oblivion of anonymity or worse become another clone of the short, tight and tacky brigade. Saldana surprised us all in the last year, stepping up her game both in her career, with leading roles in 'Star Trek' and 'Avatar', and in the fashion stakes as she paraded the red carpet in a startling array of fresh, frivolous and subtly sexy gowns from a range of top end designers. Saldana increased the success of her looks with sleek and glossy hair and simple but smouldering make up. A lesson for all in how to look confident, classy and uber-stylish.
